The Action 4s

Denmark's new super cool power band The Action 4s released their first album with the esteemed April Records in May 2025. This brand-new quartet features four of today's most acclaimed instrumentalists from Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. Already after their debut concert in 2023, it was clear that this orchestra is destined to be heard more in the future. Politiken's music editor Thomas Michelsen simply called them a "superband" and awarded their concert with a full five stars. True to their name, these four musical superheroes deliver music with action, wasting no time. Their unparalleled synergy is wild and virtuosic, and their music, blending jazz, rock, funk, fusion, and electronica, is both inventive, rhythmic, and melodically superb. It's simply perfect contemporary music: angular, flawless, and practically impossible to pigeonhole.
