Klezmofobia Anniversary in 2024: 20 Years on the Road!

Klezmofobia broke through the sound barrier when their debut album Tantz! won a Danish Music Award, and Tiger Stores sold the record by the thousands. In the years that followed, the band experienced international success, performing numerous concerts worldwide, including in Mexico, China, Japan, and Svalbard. The album Tantz! was followed by the album Ganze Velt, and after that, Tiger Stores released Kartushnik, an international collaboration with one of the Balkan world's most acclaimed music producers, Dragi Sestic.

In 2024, Klezmofobia celebrates 20 years in the music scene with a tour and the release of an EP featuring five brand-new tracks. The music encompasses irresistible klezmer chain dances, punk energy, and beautiful ballads, taking the listener on a dreamy journey through the grassy mountains and valleys of Eastern Europe. The anniversary is celebrated with concerts across the country.

Klezmofobia is more skillful than ever. The intense years of playing together and hundreds of concerts are clearly felt as the seasoned musicians effortlessly engage in lively chain dances, rock-infused klezmer, and beautiful ballads. Leading the way is the klezmer queen of the Nordics, Channe Nussbaum, whose vocals carry power, beauty, and depth.

The joy of playing is immense among the seasoned musicians of Klezmofobia, who are excited to once again grace venues in Denmark and feel the rush from the thousands of fans who love to dance, sing, and cry to Klezmofobia's music.
