Back to the roots, plenty of vocals, even more stories, and a bit closer to the audience. That's the recipe for Kajsa Vala's upcoming tour. It's actually quite simple. Good songs and just as good friends. Instruments, harmonious singing, an audience - and a stage.

Kajsa Vala's 'Helt Tæt På Tour' 2023 - Intimate, Candid, and All the Way In
Back to the roots, plenty of vocals, even more stories, and a bit closer to the audience. That's the recipe for Kajsa Vala's upcoming tour.

It's actually quite simple. Good songs and just as good friends. Instruments, harmonious singing, an audience - and a stage.
Kajsa Vala extends her success but trims it down, bringing her husband and two good friends along when she travels the country to give the audience a different musical experience at eye and ear level.

"The core is my husband, my two good friends, and myself, and it will flow with vocals and good stories. It's really about touching people and having fun," says the woman at the helm of the product, the band, and the tour.

And they've done it before, the intimate and the close. Both on tour and especially when, like the rest of the industry, they were involuntarily forced to get back to basics. Among friends and in woolen socks. Informal and face to face.

"That's how it was during the lockdown, and that's how it is on this tour. It forces me to tell more stories when there isn't a huge band and setup to support the songs. I do both, but on this tour, I can't hide behind anything or anyone, and it gives me an opportunity to try to be more spine-tingling."

About Kajsa Vala:
With an Icelandic mother and a Danish father, Kajsa Vala draws on her Scandinavian roots. Nevertheless, she is one of the few on the Danish music scene who masters the Americana genre with her unique sound.

She made her debut with the 'secret' USA album 'Your Train' in 2010, has since made her mark on the Danish music scene, and is once again both album and tour current with 'When Are We Out Of The Woods?'.
