The SHE TRIO met during the production of "Cabaret" and were then appointed as Denmark's best swinging female orchestra. Sanne Graulund's voice and piano playing exude mellowness and intimacy. Together with Eva Malling's pulsating bass and Benita Haastrup's swinging drums, SHE TRIO is a solidly coordinated musical unit. Individually, they have unfolded in various musical contexts over the years on records, tours, films, musicals, cabarets, and theaters. Together, they have created a unique vocal jazz universe of sensual interaction with plenty of musical surplus, humor, and poetry with an attitude.

Their latest release, "Tiny Spirits," released in December 2022, is a swinging admonition to the world! Several of the new songs are about their own generation's climate failure. Songs about how we do not listen and act in time. Song titles like 'Ignorance' and 'Earth is Calling' say it very directly, but the message is delivered with musical and human surplus, leaving us with a little hope - and an unforgettable melody on our minds.

SHE TRIO released their debut album 'As Simple As That' in the spring of 2019 - in a completely different world before corona, war, inflation, and energy crisis. Back then, the album was received with praise for being a cohesive, well-played, and atmospheric album. Their latest album builds on this solid foundation with an even more playful expression and a musical generosity that stands in uplifting contrast to the seriousness of the lyrics - and the state of the planet, in general. Therefore, the world needs these three women and their joint project more than ever right now. SHE TRIO hits the nail on the head precisely - and gives us a soothing deep jazz massage right where we need it most.
