Our audience has voted. And they have decided that this evening at Godset, we shall hear two very different concerts. The Kosmos Trio plays devilishly beautiful and lyrical jazz of the finest Nordic quality. Udsyn's music is a smooth crossover between jazz, classical music, electronica, and all sorts of other goodness.

Our audience has voted. And they have decided that this evening at Godset, we shall hear two very different concerts. The first concert features the winner of the Jazz6000 Audience Prize 2023. The Kosmos Trio plays devilishly beautiful and lyrical jazz of the finest Nordic quality. It's masterful musical minimalism with great nerve and presence. The trio released its critically acclaimed debut album "Letter to a Friend" on April Records in 2022. Politiken compared the record to Paul Motian and the Esbjörn Svensson Trio, so there is certainly a very beautiful concert in store.

The winner of our Audience Jazz Prize 2024 was the ensemble Udsyn, which as the name suggests, looks forward and plays tomorrow's jazz. In other words, they show us where jazz is headed in 2024. Their music is a smooth crossover between jazz, classical music, electronica, and all sorts of other goodness. At Jazz6000, we can say with certainty: Whether it's the softest or the more pulsating jazz, our audience loves it!
