COBRA SPELL:
Cobra Spell is a International 80s Heavy Rock band, founded in 2019 by guitarist Sonia Anubis. The band is completed with Kristina Vega on vocals, Roxy Herrera on Bass, Noelle dos Anjos on Rhythm Guitar and Hale Naphtha on Drums. The quintet is signed to Austrian label Napalm Records.

When Cobra Spell first played in Denmark, it was at the metal cafe's Christmas event at Godset in 2022. No one in the audience knew what hit them – even the band was surprised by the reaction. Almost every guest had to move to the front and surrender to the experience. The band is a fantastic, captivating live act that continues to grow on concert-goers all over Europe. We are super proud to once again present Cobra Spell in Denmark.

In September 2020, the band released their debut EP titled “Love Venom”. With this release, the band saw many positive reviews worldwide, pushing their drive to make new music even further.

In December 2021, the band gathered up in Madrid, Spain, to record their second EP. “Anthems Of The Night” was recorded in December 2021 at PKO Studios. Produced, mixed and mastered by Alejandro Gabasa Barcoj from Comeback Studios. The 2 main songs off it were “Addicted To The Night” and “The Midnight Hour”, which videos can be found on the band’s official YouTube channel. In October 2022, the band released a single titled “Flaming Heart”, which video can be found on the band’s official YouTube channel. COBRA SPELL has now finisher their debut album ”666” with Napalm Records.

ELECTRIC GUITARS:
We're excited to present the Danish rock duo Electric Guitars once again, featuring Søren Andersen and Mika Vandborg with their band. These two experienced musicians have been integral to the Danish music scene for many years, establishing Electric Guitars to craft energetic and raw rock music.

Their music covers a wide spectrum within the rock genre, boasting a lively and dynamic sound. With multiple album releases, they have earned recognition for their passionate live performances.

BLACK OAK COUNTY:
The Esbjerg-based hard rockers in Black Oak County, consisting of Niels Beier, Jack Svendsen, René Hjelm, and Mike Svendsen, have been making waves in the Danish and international music scenes since 2011.

Drawing musical inspiration from a range that spans from classic rock legends like Black Sabbath, Mountain, and Lynyrd Skynyrd to modern heavy metal acts such as Alter Bridge and Black Label Society, among others, the band has crafted an explosive yet catchy sound characterized by heavy riffs, guitar prowess, and massive earworm choruses.

The band's critically acclaimed debut album, Black Oak County (2017), featured hits like "If You Only Knew," as well as singles "Mad Dog" and "Someone Else." Their second album, Theatre of the Mind (2019), also received substantial airplay with singles including "Watch Your Back," "Pretty Pistol," and "Wasted Life." In total, the band has accumulated over 6 million streams and boasts more than 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

Recently, the four hard-hitting musicians have collaborated with producer legend Jacob Hansen (known for his work with Volbeat, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, among others), Søren Andersen (Electric Guitars, Mike Tramp), and most recently with Nicklas Sonne (known for his involvement in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and Defecto) on their latest musical release, "Save Your Breath," which was released on all streaming platforms on Friday, February 9th, 2024.

BLINDSTONE:
Blindstone is something as unique as a Danish power trio that effortlessly navigates the borderland between blues and hard rock. With the album "Scars To Remember" released last year on Mighty Music, and with a total of 10 albums in their catalog, Blindstone is seasoned and guarantees a musical power surge with room for improvisation - just as both hard rock and blues should be served.

In 2020, the band was not only a support act but also the backing band for blues legend Walter Trout at a series of concerts in Denmark, and the band members have collaborated with luminaries such as George Clinton, Bobby Womack, and others.

Guitarist and singer Martin Jepsen Andersen's (Meridian, Blindside Blues Band) songs have also been recorded by major artists such as Jeff Scott Soto, Billy Sheehan, Brad Gillis, Tracii Guns - just to name a few.

The above testifies that we are dealing with a band that, unusually for Denmark, understands the combination of blues and power trio in a tradition that goes all the way back to Hendrix and Cream, and that is fully on par with their English and American counterparts in the genre.

In their 20-year career, the band has toured throughout Europe and has just completed a 5-show tour in the Czech Republic and is currently very eager to open this year's edition of ROCK PÅ HAVNEN.
