Hanne Boel

Hanne Boel is in the midst of a creative period, where new ideas and musical experiments flow freely. These months she is working on new material for an upcoming album, and in the autumn of 2026 audiences will get a truly unique opportunity to become a direct part of the process. On an extensive Danish tour, she and her band will visit 15 Danish venues and concert halls, including DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen and Musikhuset in Aarhus.

For the first time in several years, Hanne Boel is returning to a well-tested method: letting the songs meet an audience before they find their way into the studio. This means the new tracks will be presented to concertgoers first, where moods and reactions may prove decisive in determining which songs end up on her next album.

On the tour, concert audiences can look forward to a powerful blend of brand new material combined with the iconic songs that over the decades have made Hanne Boel one of Denmark’s most beloved musical names. Together with her band, she is always curious and innovative, also when it comes to her older repertoire – with respect for the originals, but also with the courage to give the music new life when it feels right. Hanne Boel elaborates:
“I sense that together with my current band I am finding myself in the present. We are curious, playful, in love with music, and passionate about a great groove that hits the body just as much as the heart and the mind. We are curious about the present, and at the same time we stand enthusiastically by the old virtues of the ’80s and ’90s.”
