CALBY UNVEILS A UNIQUE TOUR FORMAT WITH EXCLUSIVE SOLO CONCERTS
The ’Burnout’ hitmaker strips things down to the essentials when he takes the stage alone for seated audiences in intimate settings, launching his highly anticipated Trilogy Tour in the fall of 2026.

’The Everyday Bit,’ ’The Million Dollar Song,’ breakthrough hit ’Burnout,’ and most recently the radio hit ’While I Wait’ have established Calby as one of the most prominent voices on the Danish charts. The Copenhagen-based artist’s critically acclaimed, modern take on classic soul and R’n’B is intimate, powerful, and cinematically grand. And his upcoming tour promises all of this and more.

Trilogy Tour is three tours in one - solo, as a trio, and with a full band - and serves as the culmination of several years of journeying, inspired by life on the road and a desire to challenge himself and his audience. On the first leg of the tour, Calby strips things down to the bare essentials - right where the song is born and allowed to live.

“There’s something fragile and exposed about a musician alone on stage with just a guitar. It’s a vulnerability, a kind of tightrope walk with the audience, where you can easily fall but also catch each other,” Calby begins, continuing: “This is where you get into the DNA of a song, its origins, and the feelings behind it. As a songwriter, it’s boundary-pushing to open up to people like that, but it’s also magical - the feeling that you’re truly sharing something with each other. And that’s what I’m looking forward to when I go on the road, just me and my songs.”

Calby’s solo concerts offer audiences the chance to get very close in a personal encounter with the storyteller, his exceptional songwriting, and captivating vocals. At the same time, the venues are not the usual large city stages, but an invitation to travel across Denmark with Calby and experience the music in both churches and small, intimate locations.

Calby is the Copenhagen-based musician Mik Thybo. He debuted to a shower of praise from Danish critics and demonstrated international caliber with the 2021 album Burnout, which was followed by further acclaim for his 2023 album Inner Critic’s Choice Awards. Calby has written no fewer than six Top 10 radio hits, received the Carl Prize, been nominated for two Danish Music Awards (including New Live Act of the Year), and with platinum and gold hits, his catalog has been streamed over 30 million times on Spotify.
