Søn

At the beginning of 2026, Danish newspaper Politiken called Søn “Danish pop music’s best-kept secret.” Now, the band is ready to step into the spotlight on the bigger stages with their Denmark tour in spring 2027.

Since the release of their debut album Det Skandinaviske Design in 2019, they have made their mark with ambitious releases, powerful live performances, and lyrics that leave a lasting impression. Earlier this year, the band released the album Søn, marking a new chapter with a more personal and direct expression. The album received five-star and five-heart reviews from, among others, GAFFA, Soundvenue, and Politiken.

“The Danish band Søn have made their best album yet. There are soft-serve ice cream machines and existentialism, and beautiful songs about this insane life, which is so wonderful, but can be so difficult.” ♥♥♥♥♥ – Politiken
The single Pissoir was named P3’s “Uundgåelige” (“The Unmissable”) and featured on several lists of the best Danish releases of the year, while Skabt til at være to currently ranks among the top five most-played songs on P3 in 2026.

Søn consists of Kristoffer, William, Jonathan, and Carl-Erik. Since 2019, the band has released four albums and received nominations for, among others, the Danish Music Awards (DUP) for Album of the Year (Solstorm) and the Carl Prize for Rock Composer of the Year. While their recorded music has only achieved significant success on radio and streaming platforms in recent years, Søn have been known for their live performances since the beginning — something their reviews also attest to:

“Søn delivered an absolutely successful afternoon concert, featuring tears, dancing, and a sense of presence from everyone on stage that I have rarely experienced.” ★★★★★ – GAFFA – Syd For Solen
“Throughout the evening, Søn demonstrated their impressive range, moving from unmistakable pop songs that the entire Vega could sing along to, to sonic experiments and deeply intimate, stripped-back and sensitive moments.” ★★★★★ – Soundvenue – Store VEGA
When Søn embark on their tour in spring 2027, audiences can look forward to a live experience where the intimate and fragile meets the grandiose and explosive. All delivered with the passion and intensity that have established the band as one of the most acclaimed live acts on the Danish scene.
