The Scottish folk-rock band Skerryvore returns to Denmark this November for a five-date tour, performing at some of the country's finest live music venues.

The band has never been more relevant. In addition to being one of the headline acts at this summer's Tønder Festival, fans can look forward to new music in early autumn when Skerryvore release their tenth studio album. The new record arrives three years after the acclaimed Tempus, which cemented the band's position as one of the leading and most popular acts in modern folk-rock.

Skerryvore combines the raw energy of the Scottish Highlands with the spirit of American roots music. Led by frontman Alec Dalglish, the band has crafted a distinctive sound that effortlessly blends traditional Scottish folk music with elements of country, pop, rock, and Cajun. This dynamic musical approach has helped the band break into the notoriously competitive American market, where – alongside Europe and Australia – they continue to attract a growing audience.

Comparisons with the legendary Runrig are inevitable, and today Skerryvore have firmly established themselves as one of the most unifying and electrifying bands on the Scottish music scene. Tempus proved a major success across the British Isles, spending three weeks at No. 1 on the Scottish Top 40 while also reaching No. 19 on the UK Albums Chart.

In Denmark, the band's connection with audiences is something truly special. Since brothers Daniel Gillespie and Martin Gillespie founded the band in 2005, Skerryvore have built a loyal following that has repeatedly filled venues across the country, resulting in sold-out concerts time and time again.
