With a new album behind him and more music on the way, Rasmus Walter is embarking on his first indoor tour in almost three years with his band. Last summer, Rasmus performed at only a few selected festivals, as all his time has been spent writing new songs that will be released continuously leading up to the tour.

Walter says: “I’ve really missed being out on the road with the band and playing the music live. I’m looking forward to returning to many of the places we’ve been before and looking people in the eyes once again. I guarantee it will be an intimate experience - with new songs - and with our renewed hunger it can only turn into a festive affair.”

Joining Rasmus Walter on the tour are the following musicians:
Max Winding: Drums
Martin Birksteen: Keys
Martin Sandberg Kærgaard: Bass
Henrik Hamilton: Keys, Guitar

Rasmus Walter is behind hits such as Endeløst, Verden I Stå, Dybt Vand, Nyt Lys, Knust Glas, På En Dag Som I Dag, and more.

Rasmus Walter will release new music throughout 2026.

In 2022, Rasmus Walter was able to look back on 20 years - first with Grand Avenue and now with a successful solo career - which was marked in November 2022 with a unique Denmark tour finishing at Falkoner Salen: the best songs from a long career and a taste of the next twenty years.

During a break from Grand Avenue and at the encouragement of his twin brother, Anders Walter, he quietly recorded a collection of songs in Danish for the first time. It did not take long before it became clear that a Danish-language solo career was the right path forward.

“I began to see myself as a solo artist when Dybt Vand broke through, and people started writing to me to say that the lyrics had touched something in them. That had never happened before, and the response was so overwhelming that I knew it was a door that shouldn’t be closed again,” says Rasmus Walter, who fondly remembers the opportunity to release a new “debut album” without expectations or pressure at a time when - after being accepted into a program in Rødovre - he had actually begun preparing for a life as a furniture maker.
