The two female composers Rahel Talts and Karmen Rõivassepp, both from Estonia, belong to a new generation of trendsetting and exceptionally talented composers. Together, they consistently create something refreshingly new, combining musical virtuosity with a sense of playful adventure that captures the spirit of the times while taking us on imaginative detours. Yet one can be certain they always return safely, thanks to Rahel Talts’ unparalleled skills as a composer and pianist and Karmen Rõivassepp’s extraordinary voice.
