About the musicians:
Carsten Dahl is regarded today as one of Denmark’s most innovative and improvisational musicians and pianists. He is often compared to his legendary counterpart Keith Jarrett. Dahl has appeared on more than 300 recordings and received countless awards, including the Ben Webster Prize and several Danish Music Awards, along with high praise from critics worldwide.

Søren Kristiansen is considered one of Denmark’s finest pianists. His superb technique, elegant swing, and vast repertoire have led to collaborations with jazz’s international elite. Kristiansen has received the Ben Webster Prize, the Danish Jazz Prize, and the Palæ Bar Jazz Prize, as well as a Grammy nomination and the award for Best Jazz Album of the Year for his solo recording “With a Song in My Heart.”
