Mille

Mille has been impossible to miss over the past year, topping the streaming charts and enjoying heavy radio rotation with hits such as “Kendt Mig I En Uge”, “Drikker Med Mig Selv”, and “Beholder Mit Tøj På”, as well as musical collaborations like “Ingen Yin Uden Yang” feat. Tobias Rahim and “Hørt Det Før” from Anton Westerlin’s album, which also featured Pil, Medina, and Annika.

After a successful summer tour with packed crowds in front of the stages and glowing reviews in outlets such as Politiken and GAFFA, Mille and her band are more than ready to take over Danish venues throughout the fall on an almost completely sold-out tour.

Daydreams, diaries, and the Danish language — three elements that have been a part of Mille’s life for as long as she can remember. At just 15 years old, she chose to take these daydreams seriously when she moved away from home to pursue her musical dream. With her diary in hand, she waved goodbye to her childhood home in Aarhus.

Using the stories in her diary as a framework, Mille paints melodic pictures with the piano and guitar as her brushes. Pictures that capture everything from longing to (mis)fortune through the lens of a young person’s perspective. With a singer/songwriter approach to the world of pop, Mille writes catchy tunes that resonate not only with her peers but with anyone who has ever been young.
