Nana Rashid sings with a rare vulnerable and naked voice, convincing with her impressive artistic depth and personality. Together with her formidable orchestra, she creates small musical miracles with every single track, which you just can't get enough of.

"One of the best Danish vocal jazz debut albums in several years (...) everything works optimally: lyrics, compositions, interplay, production." Gaffa's jazz reviewer didn't hold back on the praise when Nana Rashid debuted with "Music for Betty" in 2023. Consequently, she has been a major topic of conversation both domestically and internationally, garnering impressive reviews and countless hearts everywhere. They all agree that she is something truly special. Something we've been waiting for a long time. Therefore, it was more than well-deserved when she won the DMA Award for New Artist of the Year in 2023. She is often called Denmark's own Nina Simone because her jazz sound with powerful blues tones is simple, unadorned, and strong. And because her music always has something heartfelt to convey. She sings with a rare vulnerable and naked voice, convincing with her impressive artistic depth and personality. Together with her formidable orchestra, she creates small musical miracles with every single track, which you just can't get enough of.
