The three cowboys from Denmark, What’s In The Bag, are ready to take the next big step in their musical journey. In spring 2026, the trio will release their long-awaited debut album “Gold Rush” – a collection of songs that fuses the dust of the American prairie with the raw edge of Danish rock.
What’s In The Bag is a trio with a strong female front figure who, through an eclectic approach, blends elements from past rock and country music into their own style. The band is driven by a strong friendship and a shared passion for producing lyrics and sound in their home studio in Vamdrup. On stage, the trio stands out with their quirky personalities and friendship, inviting the listener into an intimate and raw musical space with a festive atmosphere.
What’s In The Bag consists of the female front figure, Janni, who captivates the audience with her strong, beautiful vocals and bass guitar in hand. Meanwhile, Frederik operates as a one-man-band, skillfully multitasking rhythmically by playing various instruments including drums and guitar. Sebastian handles the guitar and keeps the audience engaged with his guitar and harmonica solos. The interaction within the trio and their quirky personalities on stage give the listener a sense of joining their friendly and musical journey.
