Defacing God headlines the tour, with Maceration as direct support and Shadowspawn opening the shows. All three bands will have new albums out by the time the tour kicks off, making them red-hot and highly relevant. This is Danish culture. This is world-class. And it's going to be f**king intense!
DEFACING GOD
Dark beauty and primal brutality. Darkness reigns supreme! Since their formation in 2015, Danish metal band Defacing God has awakened the dead with their uncompromising fusion of melodic death metal, symphonic elements, occult themes, and deeply personal storytelling. With roots in darkness, the human shadow self, and the occult — and with the commanding vocals of frontwoman Sandie Gjørtz at the center — the band delivers the sound of your personal apocalypse. Following the success of their debut album The Resurrection of Lilith (2022) and explosive performances across countless European stages, Defacing God is now preparing to release their anticipated sophomore album in early 2026. Defacing God stands as one of the few Danish bands mastering the demanding and atmospheric niche where black metal, melodic death metal, and symphonic elements collide. They manage to blend brutality with beauty — and theatricality with deep darkness — in a sound that’s as powerful as it is refined.
MACERATION
Esbjerg-based Maceration are pioneers on the Danish metal scene and were one of the first bands in the country to play and release death metal. The album ‘A Serenade of Agony’ from 1992 is considered a milestone in Danish metal, but Maceration dissolved shortly after its release. It would take 30 years before the group resurfaced. Maceration’s new album ‘Serpent Devourment’ was released on January 31, 2025. The music remains old-school death metal with plenty of brutality and groove, but also with melody and catchy riffs that make it impossible not to headbang.
SHADOWSPAWN
Shadowspawn is one of Denmark’s most uncompromising death metal machines — born in the underground and battle-hardened on stages nationwide. Since their early days, they’ve delivered heavy, groovy, and aggressive death metal with a signature sound that blends old-school brutality with modern technicality. With their upcoming release — the band’s fourth album — Shadowspawn is raising the bar yet again. With tour plans across Denmark and beyond, Shadowspawn is READY to leave audiences wrecked… and grateful.
