09:30 – Arrival, Coffee & Tea

09:50 – Welcome and Practical Information

10:00 – Managing Your Visual Identity
How does a manager help shape an artist's visual identity to create a cohesive connection between the music, visual expression, artwork, personality, live performances, and merchandise? Today, success in music is about more than great songs and innovative production. It's also about communicating the vibe, culture, and sense of community that surrounds your music. In this session, you'll get practical tips on how you, as an artist, can start thinking strategically about your visual identity and learn how to develop it, so your overall artistic brand becomes clearer and more compelling to the right audience.

11:00 – Meet the Bookers
A talk on the booking process with the opportunity to ask questions and get practical advice from Kirstine Uhrbrand (Tøjhuset) and Katrine Friis Sønderby (SPOT Festival).

Kirstine Uhrbrand: Venue Manager and Booker for Tøjhuset and Eksercerhuset, Fredericia's welcoming and vibrant live music venues. Former Director of Tønder Festival and Event Designer for Klimafolkemødet.

13:00 – Lunch

13:30 – Release Strategy
A Talk with Johannes Dybkjær
Get your release off to the best possible start—and make sure it reaches its full potential—with a solid release strategy. Many bands and artists dream of releasing their music, but how do you avoid wasting time and money if your songs don't perform on Spotify the way you hoped? It all comes down to having a clear plan: knowing what you want to achieve and developing effective ideas for how to promote your music and tell the world about your release.

Johannes Dybkjær has more than 20 years of experience advising emerging bands and artists. Through his work with KarriereKanonen, he has collaborated with artists such as MØ, The Minds of 99, Benjamin Hav, Pil, Fallulah, and Patina. Today, he runs his own company, &Amplify, where he helps and mentors emerging musicians.

15:30 – The Patchwork of a Music Career
A panel discussion with Simone Tang, August Campeotto, Johanne Smed, and Kasper Buch.
Planning, networking, calendars, booking, being in a band or performing solo, balancing life as a musician and project creator—this session explores the many practical decisions and responsibilities involved in building a professional career as a performing artist. There will also be time for audience questions.

August Campeotto: Guitarist (Rosa, Danser med Drenge, Tim Schou, Søren Torpegaard Lund, Luca Stereo), guest lecturer at MGK Copenhagen, and graduate of the Danish National Academy of Music.

Simone Tang: Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Simone Tang emerged as a solo artist with the release of her critically acclaimed debut album Things I Remember in 2024. Last year she performed more than 50 concerts across Denmark and internationally, including appearances at festivals such as Tinderbox (Denmark), SXSW (USA), Trondheim Calling (Norway), and Folk Alliance (USA).

Johannes Smed: A musician, composer, and educator, educated at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg, with further studies in electronic composition at DIEM. He works with music for theatre, performing arts, and interdisciplinary art projects, and has collaborated with a wide range of Danish theatres and cultural institutions. He teaches electronic music, songwriting, and sound art at The Danish National Academy of Music and MGK Syd.

Kasper Buch: Singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Tønder, is 35 years old and has released three studio albums. Alongside his music career, he works in a warehouse, balancing everyday life with his work as an independent artist. Over the past eight years, he has established himself as a distinctive voice on the Danish music scene. He also serves as an ambassador for the Danish Anxiety and Stress Association, using his music to contribute to the public conversation on mental health. Kasper has received several grants and scholarships in recognition of his musical work, and in 2025 he was nominated for the JydskeVestkysten Culture Award.
