After graduating from high school, he received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where he specialized in tenor saxophone. Over the years, he has worked with many great jazz musicians, traveled in the USA, Europe, Asia, and Africa, and played at countless clubs and festivals. His band consists of top musicians from New York who make his seductive music vibrate. With him is the outstanding trumpeter Duane Eubanks (brother of Kevin and Robin Eubanks). The rhythm section includes keyboard virtuoso Theo Hill and bassist Joris Teepe, among others. All are experienced sidemen and leaders of their own bands. They are all famous and sought-after musicians on the New York jazz scene.
